Vacuum cleaner attachments include parts and supplies needed to make a vac machine function. With the introduction of cyclonic and robotic cleaners, the attachment business expanded further to accommodate additional materials for these modern versions of the vac cleaner. Just like in the software business, most manufacturers are producing their own parts to lock consumers in with their brand. Despite all the developments, the competition within the industry continues and more and more models and parts are introduced in the market every year.
